SIMULATOR
TRAINING
| With
the flight simulator we have tried to create a realistic
cockpit environment. You can log 10 hours of simulator
time towards your Instrument Rating, or 2.5 hours simulator
time towards your Private Pilot License. If you already
have an Instrument Rating, you can plan and fly an IFR
flight to any airport in the U.S. using VOR's or the Garmin
430. |
|
|
One
of the advantages to using the flight simulator is that
you are able to experience realistic failures that can
happen in actual IFR conditions (radios, engine, vacuum,
etc.) and learn the procedures needed to manage such
malfunctions.
